I suggest you ...

When you import a list to send an email blast, it should NOT be reported as a lead.

When we want to send out an eblast, it requires you to use an existing list or import a new list. When we do this, it is reported as a new lead. After we sent the eblast and they start to download content, they are not added to our dashboard leads because they are registered as "repeat leads". This really should change. Importing an email is not a lead... it is a prospect until they fill out a form!
We want to know when they fill out forms. It must be added to our dashboard since this is where our executives look and when it says, "Oops - leads are slipping. Time to shake things up." we are held accountable. We have to go to convert leads to even see who downloaded content.

Has there been any updates on this becoming a tool...? Hoping it's progressed some or is at least still under consideration!

This is a feature that's been a "make-it or break-it" deal with choosing to use the HS email manager rather than the 3rd party we are using instead.

        Thanks!
